In honor of the 30th anniversary of Rocko's Modern Life, the fourth Nicktoon, I have a pertinent question.
Who do you think is the Mount Rushmore of the Nicktoons umbrella?
Personally, I have a lot of them.
90's Nicktoons:

2000's Nicktoons:
1.) Spongebob Squarepants
2.) Timmy Turner

4.) Jimmy Neutron
2010's Nicktoons:

2.) Korra
3.) Harvey Beaks
4.) Dudley Puppy
2020's Nicktoons:
1.) Miko Kubota
2.) Parker J. Cloud
3.) Pony Bramley
4.) Ronnie Anne Santiago

I'm not sure what I'm more impressed by. the fact that lincoln loud gets 2 mentions (he's awesome!), the fact you are a fan of avatar, (which I am currently rewatching from the start), or the fact I know every name on this list |

After all, not many Nickelodeon-branded cartoons can claim to have a spinoff airing while the original show is in production. Only Spongebob and Rugrats can claim that, to my awareness. The same prolific status goes to Spongebob, Tommy, and Leonardo. Basically, when I said "general Nicktoons" for the last Rushmore experiment, I meant "these guys are who I think of when I think of Nicktoons". Who wouldn't be a fan of Avatar? But seriously, it was a tough choice for the third and fourth heads for the 2000's monument. I could have picked Danny Phantom or Jenny Wakeman as part of the combo and it could have worked just as well. The fact that Avatar Studios is a thing was only part of the reason. Honestly, I'd be more impressed by you knowing every name on this list. When's the last time someone brought up the 2020s Nicktoons in general? Or Mighty Mouse and the rest of the Terrytoons studio? But you are more than welcome to create your own Mount Rushmore of Nicktoons. It doesn't have to abide by my trains of thought over there. |
