Or, as I'd like to call it, "Great Surprises with Father Time and Cousin Toon".
-Between 1982 and 1986, Mrs. Brisby and Jerry Mouse could have discussed similar experiences with cats and households.
-Michael Maltese wrote for many Chuck Jones cartoons, one of which was Drip Along Daffy. He later became the head writer for The Quick Draw McGraw Show, starring an egotistical cowboy and his smarter, yet shorter, sidekick who gets berated for getting the good ideas before his partner can take the credit. Sound familiar? Daffy and Porky even ride in on a horse and burro in that particular short.
-The first studio to distribute DreamWorks features like Shrek and Saving Private Ryan was Universal Pictures. Today, Universal has plans to make a theme park mostly dedicated to family-friendly rides and attractions...based on DreamWorks animated characters, whom they bought in 2016.
-In the late 1920s, Paramount Pictures bought half of CBS when it was a radio station, and they even wanted to merge with Warner Bros. Considering the rocky roads that involve Paramount Global and The CW in more recent years, a whole lot would have changed.
-Hugh Harman and Rudolf Ising used to work at Walt Disney Productions and Leon Schlesinger Productions before working for Metro-Goldwyn-Mayer. This means that Mickey Mouse, Bugs Bunny, Tom and Jerry, and Droopy Dog all had the same forefathers when it came to the staff at the time. Try chewing on that.
This has been "Coincidences of Animation History".
